Education is one of the primary portfolios for the association and its purpose is to ensure that SARA promotes the reward profession through credible and relevant education programmes and developmental support.
In January 2013 the South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA) approved SARA's application to be recognised as a professional body. Five (5) reward designations as well as three (3) International Mobility professional designations were approved as well as a number of different policies ensuring the sustainability of SARA.
SARA organises a number of relevant networking events in Johannesburg, Durban and CT which provides opportunities to network with reward professionals to discuss challenges of mutual interest, exchange ideas and learn from each other.
