Hybrid Event (CPT) - Pay Transparency & Pay Disclosure, proudly sponsored by ASI

This event is proudly sponsored by ASI:

Pay Transparency

Increased pay transparency is one of the top reward trends around the world. Multiple countries and US states now require pay ranges to be disclosed when advertising for positions and prohibit asking candidates about their pay history. The European Pay Transparency directive, effective from June 2026, is by far the most significant legislation ever to be published around pay transparency.  It will demand of companies unprecedented openness around pay with both new and existing employees.  And companies are increasingly being asked or required to report on their adjusted and unadjusted pay gap.

In this environment it is essential to be positioning employee pay right from the start, whether for a new hire, promotion or transfer. This will reduce unintended discrimination based on prior salary / past pay history, reduce the pay gap, and make pay transparency discussions a lot easier.

Dianne will discuss pay transparency initiatives around the world, and present a pay range zone calculator that helps to position new and current employees appropriately based on individual employee criteria that can be adapted for each organisation.

She will also demonstrate how to measure the adjusted and unadjusted pay gap using a log- linear regression model, and show how this can be improved through appropriate positioning of staff.  The calculator will be shared with all delegates attending the event.
